Ingredients

Per Serving
  • Thick curd or yogurt: ½ cup
  • Water: ¾ cup
  • Sattu flour: 2 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves: few
  • Chopped mint leaves: few
  • Finely chopped ginger: ¼ tsp
  • Roasted jeera (cumin) powder: ¼ tsp
  • Rock salt or kala namak: to taste
  • Ice cubes: as required

Note: 1 cup = 200 ml, ½ cup = 100 ml, 1 tsp = 5 gm, 1 tbsp = 15 gm

*tsp = teaspoon, tbsp = tablespoon

Method

  • In a bowl, whisk curd until smooth.
  • Add sattu flour, roasted cumin powder, and salt.
  • In a blender, grind ginger, mint, and coriander leaves into a coarse paste.
  • Add this paste to the curd mixture and whisk well.
  • Add water to adjust consistency and refrigerate or serve immediately.
  • Tip: Serve chilled with a sprinkle of roasted cumin for added aroma.
